While I was very excited to use this product for my hardwood laminate floors, my excitement changed to disgust shortly after using. It SEEMS like it is cleaning the floor well, but to my surprise, I learned that it left a film on the floor that eventually would get picked up by either stocking or bare feet. The bottoms of my socks eventually started turning black. The bottoms of my bare feet would get dirty as well after cleaning with this product. This dirty film would eventually get transferred over to my brand new carpeting when I would walk from the laminate flooring into my bedrooms. I thought, surely, it can't be the cleaner so I did some experiments. I cleaned my floors thoroughly with a water and vinegar mixture (spray on the floor and scrub with the floor chamois) after several cleanings of this nature, I was convinced that the floors were completely clean and my feet and socks no longer got dirty. I then went back to the Black Diamond cleaner and the blackness started showing up again. I do not recommend this product if you want to get your floors clean. Instead, save yourself some headache, money and time by simply filling a spray bottle with half water and half white vinegar. Then use like you would the black diamond cleaner. It is much more effective at cleaning and does not leave a filthy residue behind.
