Purchased this unit after much review and reading of comments and forums. Sadly, I am not finding it to be as useful. I was vehicle shopping and wanted to read trucks before purchasing as I was looking specifically for used trucks. This is where I ran into first issue. VIN read failed repeatedly and regularly. Then once it red it would say to select the year. If you have the VIN why do I need to enter year? Guess what it only goes up to 2017 in the RAM (Dodge) database. Thus I never could get anything to work properly. It says every single senor has an error on truck. Thankfully, a real unit does not agree. But this thing is junk and there are six models that say new 2020. It only goes to 2017 so guess not new. *Jan 2021: I have received six E-Mails offering to pay me $40 to delete this comment. I have turned down every offer. I have also made multiple attempts to reach out to Autel and to date I have not received a single reply. Customer service is non-existent.
