This air purifier emits a noxious smell when operating. The emissions are most certainly volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that should not be breathed. Honeywell should not be marketing and selling an air purifier that makes air quality worse from a VOC perspective. The "purified air" this thing spews out gave me headaches and made me nauseated. Shame on Honeywell for not fixing what seems to be a common problem with their filter. They are probably sourcing these filters super-cheap from a Chinese factory that uses whatever glues/solvents it can source at the lowest cost. This is a typical corporate move on Honeywells' part, demonstrating it could care less about its customers welfare. Very disappointed, shame on Honewyell. I will attempt to solve this problem myself by buying a filter set from an alternate vendor (Veva). I'll be sending everything back if the alternate filters do not fix this problem.
