I normally don't review items, but this one deserves mention. On the original item page, it NOWHERE mentions a re-certified or used drive. In the upper right corner it says "Buy New". I did a one click purchase and moved on. I received this drive today and immediately hooked it up to one of my Linux servers and ran smartctl. For those who do not know about smartctl, it reads ALL the S.M.A.R.T. tables in the drive. This drive had over 28000 power on hours. Save the math. 3.23 years of power on time. Also show a ton of errors of various types. Seagate drives show smart different than most. The errors could be because of buffer overflows etc. However, power on hours are a sold count not to be ignored. After heading to the order page to return the drive, I saw this at the bottom of the order details page.
