I ordered the 4 x 180 foot roll. It felt very light. I didn't take it out of the plastic wrap, I did peel the wrap down a few inches so I could feel the thickness of the fabric. Very thin, very flimsy. I was able to tear it easily with my fingers. I feel like if it will tear this easy then when you put it down with the staples it will tear around those and you'll have holes everywhere for weeds to grow through. I've seen a lot of reviews that state this is 2-3 times as thick as the weed fabric in the big box stores. The stuff I got wasn't. It wasn't any thicker. In fact it felt flimsier. Maybe they sent me the wrong stuff. The description says this is 5 ounce fabric. I assumed that meant 5 ounces per square yard? The 4 x 180 roll has 80 square yards and I weighed it. It weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces. That's 137 ounces. That means this stuff weighs 1.7 ounce per square yard. I returned it without using it. I can't see how it would last. I bought another brand. It was a roll that was 120 square feet less than this stuff yet weighed 5 pounds more and I couldn't tear it with my bare hands.
