DO NOT BUY
I was willing to look past the awful proprietary creation application “Design Space” requirement. It sucks in it’s good days. Loses projects, constantly errors out, and lacks good user interface. ANYWAY, this company is now going to a ‘pay to use’ model where you have to pay $10/month if you want to upload more than 20 files to their “required” application and storage. You don’t have access to your own files. Once the SVG is created it’s there and you can’t get them downloaded. If you want to upload more than 20 files you’re out of luck. Most designers need to upload multiple versions of a project to be able to tweak things so they work properly. You’ll no longer be able to refine your projects unless you want to pay them.
Do more research. Invest in a machine and a company that values their customers. Cricut is not one of them.
