Check before use (w pictures)
For the price tag, I didn't expect this to be used. But mine came with the guard clip on that, when removed, revealed some water and a strand of someone else's hair. Unacceptable. Edited to add pictures of what this looked like when I unboxed it... even looks likes it's been used for a while.
