We loved this topper when we first got it. It was very comfortable and we loved the lavender smell. However, we're realizing now that it's been making our son very hot while he sleeps. He has to have a fan on him all night and that started when we got the mattress. His sweating has even discolored the topper! We had no idea that a mattress topper could make you sweat! And after only about 6 months of use, the topper has many tears in it. I don't understand how it can tear from sleeping on it. Wish it would've lasted longer. We're wondering if the gel version might last longer but we're nervous to try after this. Update: the company reached out to me after my review and have been very receptive and accommodating. They sent me a new topper free of charge and even agreed to send the gel version to see if that makes a difference in my son's body temperature. It arrived the next day! I will update after he gets a few nights sleeping on it but so far, the customer service has been outstanding and so appreciated.
