Replacement parts were not manufactured properly. The length and thickness of the replacement joystick ribbon cable is longer and thicker than the original part. The end thickness of the cable prevents it from being seated properly in the connector on the control board. Further evidence of the poor construction quality resulted in the pull tab splitting off on one of the two joysticks I replaced with the same part (2-pack ordered). The second joystick I replaced doesn't register up-right diagonal movements. What a horrible waste of time and money. Note, this review comes from someone with a high tech level who has successfully replaced similar components in other controllers as well as laptop, vtc and smartphone screens, notebook motherboards and many other electronic device parts.
