Item failed within 24hrs of installation. Appears to be cheap China product unlike the older versions of Fan-tactic products. Three speed switch speed controller failed. When i contacted the manufacturer they advised they could not send the part. I was supposed to uninstall the entire assembly, return and wait for a replacement ( with a 14" square hole in my roof ). Amazon refunded the entire price of the item and I do not have to return it. So now i still have a bad fan and no part. I have owned Fan-tastic fans for decades, never had one fail. Their new product line is not the old bullet proof tanks they used to build, very cheap components. The speed controller is actually a series of resistance wires/coils not solid state (cheap). From what i can gleen from the spec sheets; all the fans are the same but with different features. Higher end fans have the same capacity, just different options.
