Good idea, but a cheaply made product
This appliance is very cheaply made especially for the selling price and I didn't have a good experience trying it out either. Only tried 3 recipes before I was sure I would return it. First, the hinge mechanism is flimsy. Second, the pan inserts are so thin that you can easily bend the handles with little force. Third, it just has a very cheap feel and look about it. Problems... 1)Some of the food sticks because after you spray with cooking spray, you pre-heat and the pre-heating seems to burn most of the spray off the surfaces. 2) Everything gets cooked at the same temperature which is not always a good thing for all food types. The chicken I made ended up very tough even at the recommended time to cook in the recipe. 3) While cooking the chicken, I kept hearing these popping sounds and assumed it was just the chicken cooking. After the timer went off, I went to open the lid and discovered that dime sized areas of the red paint on the top of the unit had bubbled up and popped off!!! There were 3 - 4 spots that had bubbled up and popped off leaving a bare black spot underneath. That was it for me. This cheap product is going back to the store tomorrow and I have the feeling that Cathy Mitchell is laughing all the way to the bank on this one. AND... she/the company charges to get recipes??? Hello, there are hundreds of very good recipe web sites that give the recipes away at no charge. But the Redi-set-go recipes are supposedly so good that they are worthy of a charge to the customer who bought a product that goes along with them??? I don't think so.
