I was really disappointed with this product. I am a HS teacher and bought this to help secure my classroom door if the lock were ever to be shot out by an active shooter. I placed it exactly as the directions stated, directly under the door knob behind an unlocked door and one of my students (a small framed female) went out to test it. She pushed right through the door and caused the part that goes under the door to snap off.
