Some people such as myself use fans for white noise as well as to keep cool so a big part of a fan for me is sound. This fan has a double blade one it (look at the picture closely you’ll see what I mean) and this makes the fan have a very odd sound to it. On top of that the motor is very loud. To me it sounds like a helicopter almost with its choppy tone. In terms of air flow it’s fine. Assembly was somewhat difficult particularly assembling the cages together as the flimsy piece of plastic that connects the two metal cages together was very loose on arrival and ended up popping off the nut from the screw (which was super fun to try and find a nut the size of an eraser head tip). Even once secured still had trouble then had to take it all apart again to try and find out what was making that noise but apparently is just the fan! So now I am faced with the decision to dissemble it and try and pack it in the tiny box it arrived in for a refund or just cut my losses. Save yourself the pain.
