ZERO STARS: The very first time we tried to use this food processor, it didn't work. The motor was cranking but the blade wasn't spinning. We contacted Hamilton Beach and explained that there was something wrong with the base unit. They needed more details as to what was wrong with it so we had to open the bottom and saw that the motor wasn't even connected to the base unit. The cheap plastic at the top of the motor was broken. Hamilton Beach refused to honor the warranty (since we had to open it to determine what was wrong) so it is basically an expensive piece of landfill that we never even got to use once. They said this is uncommon and yet I see another reviewer had the exact same thing happen. Don't waste your money on a company that won't stand by their products. NEVER buying anything from Hamilton Beach again.
