Let me start with the good news. The sound on this unit is decent, given the relatively low price. On the other hand, the small screen isn't backlit, so it's hard to see(which isn't all that big a deal) and there's no remote control (again, not a big deal for me). I have two serious problems. First, there are only 3 radio pre-sets, even though the description here on the Amazon page says that there are 20 FM and 10 AM pre-sets. I can live with only 3 although I would prefer some more, but the inaccuracy of the description is really troubling. The other problem is that the back panel piece covering the battery compartment is seriously flawed in design. I had some difficulty removing the panel, but did so and inserted the batteries. In trying to put the panel back, it got terribly jammed, with the bottom firmly in place and the top sticking out. Worse, I can neither get the panel on nor get it off, so it's now stuck half on and half off. In retrospect, my mistake was probably to place the bottom part in first rather than the top part, but one way or another, this shouldn't have happened. As I said, the sound on this is pretty decent for the price, but ....
