I enjoy reading through the reviews on Game of War from time to time but only some of them portray the actual truth. The game is a "freemium" game, meaning that it's free to download but not free to play. You get started by going through a tutorial, joining an alliance, and settling in a kingdom that you desire. The game goes fast up until you reach stronghold 13. This is when the timers take days to complete. It takes about 1-2 weeks for you to hit this level without being zeroed by another player. Say you make it to this level and you haven't quit yet. You then have to spend a pretty good amount of money if you EVER hope of hitting the highest possible tier. When you read the reviews on this game, they're not over exaggerating the massive amounts of money REQUIRED to progress further in this game. You WILL have to spend thousands of dollars just to reach a power where players won't want to hit you everyday. This game focuses on the hardcore gaming community. MZ pushes adds in your face during gameplay. I myself have bought a few of their bundles and haven't received the rewards from two of them. Don't even bother to contact the MZ support as they'll send you the generic email of "we're sorry but it's your own problem now, thanks for your money!" Overall, this game is a money pit, a waste of time, and a cardiac arrest all wrapped in a nice little package.
