Unit seemed to work on first drive then did not keep engine in V8 mode. I believe item was older version of Range Technologies firmware. Bought new one direct from Range with the latest firmware and works perfectly. If you want the EFM disable device buy direct from Range Technology web site to ensure you get latest software. Amazon should not fulfill this product for this seller IMHO.
