Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

This is a present for my wife for Christmas, it was on back order I finally got it on Jan 5th no biggy. I was happy to wait for a product with near perfect reviews. I've heard heard about Gravity Blankets on the Elvis Duran Show on the radio and how they loved it. I did some research and found out the Gravity Blankets cost $250.00+ and also you have to buy a cover as well. I found this blanket on Amazon and read all of the reviews and was surprised. I also found a fairly inexpensive cover. As allot of you reading this came here for the ratings and pictures. Plus the price is a good deal compared to more expensive ones out there for the same results. When I finally got it and put the cover on it my wife was very happy to get it. After lying with her for a couple of minutes. I've noticed that the edges felt VERY LIGHT. So I proceeded to try to move some of the filler from one pocket to another and shaking the blanket. After I've noticed that the pockets were individually sealed and filler couldn't be transferred I then opened the cover and inspected the pockets. Upon inspection of just the bottom edge I found that it was completely empty of glass beads and only polyester type filler. I then check the next row and felt about 25% of the amount of filler. The next row was very inconsistent in the amount of filler. I didn't take the whole cover back off because of the tethering on the edges plus I didn't want to make a huge scene in front of my wife with be diagnosing the purchase I just made. I don't have extreme OCD, but for the price this is very annoying in the variance of pocket to pocket and weight distribution. Although my wife is content with it on day one, we will see how this pans out. So I spent about 120 for the blanket and 44 for the cover. I spent less than 200. When the Gravity Blanket with a cover is 350. I will update in a week with the wife approval or not. Update: I ended up returning it. Going to try a different company.
