This story had so much potential. I actually liked the characters and where the story was going, but my gosh, this author’s writing style made reading this almost miserable. It’s so overly wordy. There are useless descriptions of things and I had no idea what she was talking about. Scenes would go on so long because the characters would have this long inner dialogue filled with overly descriptive stuff that seemed to mean nothing to the story. I would have to reread constantly to try to figure out what he or she meant. It was so frustrating and I just gave up and quit the book. I actually really wanted to know what happened, but I just couldn’t stand the way it was written.
