Mine also did not work, in bright sunlight it will only "pulse" current (according to my meter). Please read all the reviews before buying. Although this has a fairly high rating, there seems to be A LOT of these units that don't work right out of the box. As I have a car stored in a remote area I did not discover this was not working until it was too late to return. The amber "charging" light came on so it seemed like it was working. It was used on two different batteries and made no difference on either. The batteries just need to be topped off. Battery tender is usually good stuff but because I didn't read all of the reviews and just went with the overall rating I wasted $80. Be smarter than I was!
