I got an Amazon gift card and was looking to replace my iPad. I purchased this iPad and it was delivered relatively quickly. It appeared perfect upon arrival, with all of the correct plastic and packing materials, etc. I put in my Apple ID and everything booted right up. However... After I charged it for the first time, the screen became completely pixilated and unresponsive. I called Apple to try to resolve the issue, and it turns out that this iPad was REFURBISHED, originally sold in 2014. Apple's best guess is that this iPad was stolen and re-sold to me. I am shocked and horrified. Bondi Mobile has emailed me requesting that I not contact Apple and only go through them directly, but this is absolutely not OK. I have never been so disappointed in a company's lack of integrity. Do yourself a favor- spend the extra $50 and go directly through Apple.
