A licensed cosmotologist has been supplying me with Redken RCT Protein Complex, All Soft Shampoo, for dry/brittle hair for some time. Recently, I ordered Redken Shampoo from Amazon (labeled exactly the same as the product I have been getting from the cosmotologist). The Amazon Redken Shampoo, however, has a very different consistency, and after using it my hair was frizzy and dry, and my scalp was itchy. I spoke with my cosmotologist, and she said only licensed cosmotologists are allowed to purchase this Redken Shampoo. She said it is not available to the general public, even at a Sally Beauty Supply. I do not recommend this Amazon Redken Shampoo, as my hair was frizzy and dry, and my scalp was itchy after using it, not at all like the REAL Redken Shampoo supplied by my cosmotologist.
