Water flows through this product very quickly, much faster than the original Pur product. I’m a scientist and I’ve worked with a variety of water filtration products (and designed a few), and I find it impossible to believe that this filter is doing much of anything other than improving the taste of water. While taste is important, there’s no way of knowing what, if anything, else is being filtered out. The lights are meaningless as they do not reflect the water quality. I immediately replaced this with the Pur brand product.
