I bought this to keep my two dogs from roaming around outside my rural country house. Right now I am in the process of training them. There are two things all users and potential buyers should be aware of. 1) the warning beeps are extremely low, at least for human hearing. 2) if you are using the system with two dogs you cannot train them at the same time. The 2 receivers I have have different sensitivities and one may end up shocked before the other one even hears the beep. The first time they got shocked the system was on #5. So I lowered it two #3 but that had no effect. So I decided to try it on myself. #3 felt like a mild ultra-sound sensation similar to what you would feel at the chiropractor. #4 was much more substantial and definitely got my attention. It does not seem like there is a level amount of increase between the degree of shock this device provided. So my dogs just got shocked for the second time. Right now I am trying to deal with two traumatized dogs, one that is shaking and following me around the house. Thats why at this point I can only give this system a 1 rating and say buyer beware.
