In the FAQs the vendor states that there will be relatively few duplicates across many series of expansions. I bought 2 packages (200) cards for a base spread of cards for my son. After going through the cards I received, I can safely say that statement is a lie. First while the cards came from seven different series, 80 percent of them came from a single series. Second, out of 200 cards there where only around 50 distinct cards. Some cards had up to 7 duplicates while many had 2 or 3. I am a realist and figured on a 10 percent duplicate rate, the 75 percent duplicate rate is just shameful... For those still going, well it is only 10 cents a card you can look at it this way. If you are attempting to get a spread of cards cheaply, each duplicate increases the price of the distinct cards (which, lets face it, is what you are attempting to get). So a 75 percent duplication rate quadruples the price of each distinct card to 40 cent per card. At this price you can buy new booster packs for less per card and get the rares and foils in each pack for cheaper. In short while the cards are in new condition, the vendor is ripping you off. (unless you are just looking of a mass of duplicate cards)
