I recently purchased this cooler. Apparently the older ones are great as a friend of mine has had one for a few years and his keeps ice for about 48 hours. Mine keeps ice for about 12 hours in 60 degree weather. Last night I filled it with ice and beer around 4pm. It was 60 degrees and the cooler was never in direct sunlight. When I checked it at 7am all of the ice was gone. The beers were still cold but there was no ice. It is slightly better than the other $30 soft coolers that I have but costs 5 times as much. This is not worth the money. Save your cash and buy a cheaper cooler.
