Product unfortunately registers every battery I tested in the green/good range. No batteries I tested were completely dead but many were very close to being completely dead when tested in several products (flashlights) against brand new batteries. One battery was so close to being completely dead that the clock it was put into would click but the second hand would not advance. Also, there's no spring loaded tension on this product to hold batteries in so you have to use two hands to balance it between the contacts to function. Not a big deal - if it worked, but it does not. Returning for a full refund and luckily did not pay any shipping costs...
