I really had high hopes for this product and my 4c hair. I had another hair gel that I thought was comparable to this and I was completely wrong. It did help slick my hair into a pony tail but somewhere within 1 hour I was frizzy a French poodle. I tried to use as an edge control when I wore my hair in two braids for my intense workouts and as a Chef. It didn't hold no matter what. I hate I bought 2 jars. I am not able to give it away so I will be stuck trying to use it up as quickly as humanly possible to get rid of it. No matter what I tired this product just did not work for me as well as I really wanted to. I have a very active lifestyle and the last thing I need is for my hair to be doing its own thing. It smelled really great and did not have a sticky residue or leave my hair cakey as some products will and it washed completely away without leaving my hair feeling like I had a major buildup in it. Someone may have better luck than I did with this gel.
