I purchase this to replace my old Kenmore I had for 17 years. It was such a big disappointment. Beyond being defective it wasn't nearly as nice as my old one.. For example, the home does not swivel where it goes into the cannister and there is a lot of cheap plastic on it. Because of the cheap plastic the cover over the HEPA filter keeps falling off. It fall off about 3 times while vacuuming a room. The floor nozzle didn't fit correctly inot the wand and broke on its first use. I have this vaccum! Even though I paid $300 for it I had my husband take it to Goodwill to get rid of it. It made me angry just to have it in the house. Why can't we make a decent vaccum anymore?
