well written, interesting but unfortunately continued.
I want to read stand alone books but it seems to be almost a given these days that authors don’t feel they can sell their next book based on the quality of their writing but must try to entice you to buy the next one to get an ending to the story. Thus two stars. I’m really, really tired of this BS.
