Really? A cliffhanger? I hate cliffhangers! If I would have known that it would be a cliffhanger I would waited for this series to finish before buying this first book. Also, I am so disappointed with this book. It felt hastily written, with so many gaping holes in the story and barely passed as a paranormal romance. Definitely not one of Ward’s better creations. I feel like the Black Dagger Brotherhood was only used in it to rope in BDB readers to buy the book to generate more sales. I don’t believe I have ever given this low of a rating to a J. R. Ward novel before and it saddens me. 😢
