I used this less than ten times, when suddenly I heard the motor slow down and began to smell something. When I looked at the bottom of the vacuum - there was smoke coming out. I have used Bissell machines for years and been happy, so maybe this was just a one-off, but seriously!! I don't need my vacuum cleaner to set my house on fire.
