These magnets are really cute, and my one year-old loves playing with them. They've helped me teach him to identify different animals. There's a nice mix of farm and jungle animals. My only (major) gripe with them -- these aren't just wooden, as advertised. The animal prints are cardboard, and it doesn't have a protective coating. As soon as they get wet (washing, teething, etc.) the print starts to deteriorate. They need some laminate or modge podge or something to keep them looking pristine. This is a major oversight in the production of these magnets. Duh, y'all. "Tested to be safe and durable" … Horse puckey! Another reviewer (who convinced me) wrote: "They are made of durable wood...just in case you have a nibbler.
