When I received the Deco M4 three pack I was impressed at how easy it was to set up, how well all of my tech connected to it, and how seamless the 2.4 and 5 Ghz meshed together. I was quite happy for about 27 days, then out of the blue the main unit light went red, and all of the additional units started flashing red. The support site let me know this means there is an issue with the unit. No kidding? Thanks. Tried three hardware resets. The main unit would come on-line long enough to start or fully configure the wireless network and then it would go solid red again. Thought maybe I would write that one off, and try to re-purpose one of the other two. Nope. The hardware would not let me do a factory reset the slave units to be a primary or reset them, I am sure that is part of how the system works, but it would have been nice to know that once you pair them to the primary there is no going back. So I am stuck with three matching towers that are basically $170 paperweights with red lights if I want to plug them in. I will probably try to send them off for repair or replacement, but in the mean time, I ordered another brand with next day delivery. And of course this had to happen on a Saturday morning.
