This is a great little quad but it gets low stars because of it's cheap and dangerous USB charging cable. Most of the low cost quads ship with the same usb charger (SEE PICTURES) - same exact supplier. The problem is that I've now had 2 in row melt down during a charge, and it was so hot it burnt my finger when I went to unplug it - the plastic was soft and stuck to my finger. You can see my fingerprint in it now! I plugged it in after taking the quad for a spin, and after maybe 15 minutes I could smell something electrical burning in the house. I tracked it down to this damn cheap cable. What would happen if I plugged it in and went to bed? The wire was lying in the wicker basket its stored in, along with instruction manuals (paper) and other things. Easily could have gone up in flames. I won't buy another quad from any sellers that include this cheap, non-US made charging cable. Both have melted down in the exact same way - right over the "LED" which should run cold. PLEASE don't risk a house fire - be careful where you charge with this - and DON'T leave it alone. And no, it's not a problem with my house or it's wiring - the first melted down plugged into my Mac at the office, and the other just melted down at home in the basket. My youngest child got this for Christmas and Amazon won't let me exchange it - so I'll be buying from a local seller now - so I can check out the charger first hand and get some better support when it melts down after 3 months. This really needs to be recalled before someone gets hurt or worse. SYMA: Charge $1 more and put in a SAFE, American made USB charger. BE WARNED! Waste of money, and one disappointed 12 year old!
