Consumer reports blew it on this one. While the ovenarrived promptly and well packaged, its short comings quickly became apparent. First the electric cord comes out of the front right corner of the oven. This sounds trivial but it looks like a factory reject sitting on the counter. In my kitchen the cord runs close to the burners of my gas stove top creating a fire hazard. It cannot be routed under the oven. The broiling pan is not stainless and cannot be put in a dishwasher. It has a nonstick surface that is instantly removed in the dishwasher. Once the surface is removed, your hands will be covered in oxidized aluminum. The shape and size of this pan are so small and odd, it cannot be replaced with anything but aluminum foil. On the plus size, it toast one slice of bread in half the time you old cuisinart toaster oven did. The instructions state you cannot use butter or oil on the toast as it will catch fire. That is as close to useless as a toaster can get.
