Don't buy this. I wanted something small I could use for marinades, salad dressings, and chopping nuts. I've used it three times, all of which were for marinades/liquids, nothing hard or very sticky. It makes an extremely loud, unpleasant high-pitched whirring noise, and mine is also smoking a good deal as soon as it's turned on. The blades aren't well-positioned so whatever is on the bottom of the bowl doesn't blend, just gets pushed to the corners. I contacted customer support re: smoking and provided several details in my email including color, model, purchase date/location, order #, etc.to which I received a bot reply asking for all of the same information again. I'm giving it two stars out of kind speculation - I've only used it three times. Perhaps there is something this machine is good at that I haven't yet discovered, that I can accomplish before it catches fire. Pro: it is easy to clean, if that's more important to you than, well, chopping. I was deciding between this and the Ninja Pro and I regret choosing this one.
