After wearing Brooks Beasts for decades, the redesign of the '20 version has me shopping other brands. By moving to the "Guard Rail" support and reducing mid-sole support, these shoes no longer provide the stability, motion-control and support of previous models. And the altered sole design traps pebbles that have to be dug out before walking on a hardwood floor. Brooks Beasts and Addiction Walkers had long been my favorite shoes. But the Beast is a beast no more.
