I unpacked my new skillet ready to season it and get cooking. I am going to send it back. I am horrified to find it as rough as the most rough sand paper. Worse. The edges of the skillets can cut your skin open. I cannot see trying to fry an egg, it will certainly turn it into mush. It will not be cleanable and to cook in will also destroy my cooking utensils. I am not happy with this skillet. I have had many over the years and this is a first for me. I have never seen a cast iron skillet like this one before in my 60+ years on earth. I cannot recommend this to anyone. It is a poorly made skillet.
