I received my unit and was very excited to do away with the darn ice trays at home. I waited more than the recommended 24 hours to plug it in. The first day I was super-pleased. It made quite a bit of ice, very fast. I filled my freezer, turned it off after using it for 12 hours. 3 days later I turned it on again to replenish my ice, now it's chugging along, making ice every 15 minutes, and the ice seems to be more soggy and less frozen, at this rate, the third time I use it it'll surely make me some chilled water. Should've gone with a brand name, but the reviews on this seemed good. I need to learn to check for fake reviews before deciding to buy items over 100$. So yeah, this is great if you like stuff that works as intended for one day. Make sure to get it on the day you're throwing a party, that way you can show it off. Disappointed. I'll update this if the situation improves or if it simply dies.
