EDIT: I am floored that there are comparisons to the following writers in the description, absolutely FLOORED: "Harkness has created a universe to rival those of Anne Rice, Diana Gabaldon, and Elizabeth Kostova". Stopped at pg. 122. Unbelievably childish, no flair for words whatsoever, heroine is unbearable. I've never wanted to give a negative review on a book, many different readers with many different styles, but my god! You've been warned...
