We bought this bean bag chair less than six months ago for our 6 and 8 year olds’ reading corner. They were thrilled. We loved it- great size, soft, comfortable to sit in. Then about a month after owning it, it broke a seam and foam beads invaded our home. No big deal, right? Maybe we got a lemon because there are so many rave reviews. Contacted the seller and they were less than eager and willing to make this right. Finally, we were able to exchange our busted chair for a new one and we were happy. Four months later, the bag busted a seam again. This chair is not played roughly with. My two children combined weigh less than the bag itself- they’re tiny people. Not wanting to deal with the seller again we tried patching up with some tape, but of course that doesn’t work with this type of chair or fabric. So it has just sat, unused for weeks, leaking tiny foam balls of nightmares anytime you so much as glance at it. We’re extremely disappointed. This wasn’t a cheap knock-off find we found down at the corner. We expected better quality. We’re contacting the seller again now without much hope for resolve. I anticipate our bean bag chair will be landing itself in the dumpster in the near future. Edit to add: The seller did refund our purchase after the replacement bag busted, too. That is appreciated greatly.
