Well, initially, out of the box, I was impressed with the product. Superior extension length, clean design on pruner, ease of saw blade installation. Put it to work today. Bit disappointing. The saw blade doesn't 'bite' as well as you'd expect, but that's manageable. However, the pruning cutter has a clean cut with smooth operation, but first few uses on 1/4" branches. The pole shaft/handle is composed of three extension pieces, base is fiberglass and sturdy, but the intermediate and far extension appear to be made of light gauge aluminum. I was pruning a 2-3" branch about 8 feet up so i extended the far shaft about 2-3 feet and proceeded to trim,by the time I cut thru it, the metal extension had developed a 'bow'. Upon inspection it was indeed determined that the far shaft had bent, curved , enough so that it failed to retract completely. The metal is malleable, bends easily, it's 'soft'. It seems that the more service one will put it to the more it will bend. At full extension there seems enough observable speculation that the intermediate metal shaft will bow as well. It's a shame it. It seemed, according to product description, that this would prove to be a valuable tool. Now it seems it'll need to be handled with kid gloves and limit it's useful work to 1-max 2" branches. Another point of concern are the friction locks, they tend to freeze and require excessive force to loosen. An OK tool but given only 30 minutes in service, too expensive for the quality. By the way I have a 1/2 acre property in Miami, FL, with many tropical fruit trees that I taken care off for 50 years, I'm not a novice to pruning or assessing tool quality. Sorry guys. It did arrive very well packaged and in a very timely manner via Amazon Prime.
