I wanted this to work for my scaredy-cat, but after a couple of weeks of wearing this, I happened to be home and heard some odd banging/thrashing from the other room. My cat had gotten this collar hooked on something and was STRANGLEING himself! The collar wasn't budging at all...very dangerous and not at all safety release like all cat collars should be. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been home. Buyer beware. I wouldn't buy this unless they change this to a breakaway buckle/clasp.
