Ever heard of The Girl Who Could Fly?
I’ve pretty much read and appreciated almost all of Stephen King’s work. Whenever I pick up one of his books, I can’t put it down. However, I have come to the conclusion that King may be losing his touch and certainly his creativity and originality with his most recent book. “The Institute” is almost an exact (and less impressive) copy of the science fiction book “The Girl Who Could Fly” written by Victoria Forester. I’ve been a big fan of Stephen King for a while, but this was simply disappointing. Also, I found the frequent pop culture references and the Trump slams tedious (and I’m a young democrat).
