First of all, let me just say that Quercetin itself is an amazing product. If you have allergies it may work very well for balancing histamine levels instead of crushing them like some over the counter antihistamines. However, I used this brand of Quercetin for 2 years with great success... Then all of the sudden the quality of the product went from "wonderful" to "terrible" and Pure Encapsulations fails to explain WHY when I inquire (or even to admit to an obvious difference in batches). I always empty the capsules into a water bottle when I take this because the effects come faster. The most recent batch that I received was noticeably more "brownish yellow" instead of the normal "bright yellow"... It did not dissolve in water like other batches (instead the product floated at the top)... and most of all the effects were nothing like previous bottles that I had taken for over two years. I do realize that there can be some color differences from batch to batch in a product that is naturally derived like this one, but the differences are not just a slight difference we are talking about. The "batch variations" excuse simply will not cut it when the water solubility is so significantly different. Perhaps they found a cheaper supplier (which is my guess). I thought it might just be one bad batch, but when I ordered and received another batch more recently the problem was the same. I addressed my concerns with customer service and they claimed that they pulled up a few different batches and there is no difference. That is an absurd response, seeing that I literally sent pictures of the difference in solubility, and noted the deceased effectiveness of the product. Anyways, hate to be negative, but the fact is that the quality of this product has gone way down hill. This company used to be great, but I would recommend staying away from this brand of Quercetin until the problem is solved.
