Turns out we didn't actually need a replacement remote after all, so now we have two. If you should ever find that your remote isn't working, try the following before purchasing a new remote. Unplug the sound bar from the wall and wait 15 seconds before plugging back in. This resets the unit somehow and your remote will work again (if you have the same problem I had). Something I really don't like about this remote is the fact that if you accidentally push the top left button instead of the top right, then the sound bar won't work until you redo the left top button by finding the proper position for the red LED lights. I also don't like that the soundbar turns off by itself after only 10 minutes of TV inactivity (if you pause the TV). This remote needs improvements to be more user friendly.
