I bought these chains in bulk because they were a good price and listed 925 silver plate. I used a few on client purchases and put them aside to be used later. Upon further inspection of my second pack, I noticed that the plating was down to the base metal of 50% of that batch. They almost appear to have a copper hue, with very slight overlay of "silver" in spots. I thought that it may be just need for cleaning. When cleaned in a liquid used exclusively for sterling, the plate completely stripped down to the base. These chains are not properly plated and the listed 925 silver is questionable. I'm mortified that several of my customers are now wearing these chains. I'm 10 days past the return date and now have no recourse but to throw them out. I would not recommend unless you are expecting returns or 0 repeat customers. $36 down the drain for 2 orders.
