UPDATED REVIEW: I have discovered the BAD batches contain unknown black flakes that cause a disgusting bitter slightly metallic flavor. The BAD LOT#’s are 20090A and 20088B. If you see these, I recommend you return it. I currently have 4 boxes of unusable packets, that’s about $50 worth of product I CANNOT USE. See the photos I’ve posted of the bad batch. Read on for more details. I had loved this stuff and used it all the time until I started tasting and seeing the difference. Initially, I thought the change in taste was due to a new recipe/formula, but I later found out that’s NOT the case. It just depends on which LOT# you happen to get. So far the only SAFE and classic taste is LOT# 20024A. I figured out that there WAS a safe/original taste still being produced because at the beginning of the year there was a period were they ran out of stock on Amazon so I had my friend had found some at a store and sent me 2 boxes which were LOT#20024A. Right before I had received her package, I saw Amazon had it back in stock and ordered some as well as some from Walmart. All of the ones I ordered from Amazon plus the ones I received from Walmart were the bad batches. I reached out to Celsius directly through their website because I was not able to locate a customer service phone #. About 10 days later, I finally get a response saying they would replace my bad batch of I provided my address. They provided no explanation at all as to why the batches were bad or if it was even safe that I consumed some. I replied the same day and it’s 2 months later and still nothing. Not too hopeful I’ll actually get the 4 boxes replaced, but if I do, I’d be grateful. PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 2 years ago: This stuff is crazy amazing! I personally can not handle a full packet of this stuff. Just half a packet with approximately 10 oz of water or more is enough for me. I’m wired but not in a bad way, at least it doesn’t feel like my heart is ready to leap out of my chest like other energy beverages. I also love that they come in travel packets making it super convenient. Although when I consume this my blood pressure does reflect that it’s been elevated a bit, so probably not a good thing to have more than a packet a day. It doesn’t make me crash and my energy level is fairly constant, fading slowly.
