This is my FOURTH sous vide cooker. My first was a water oven and the rest are all immersion circulators. This is the best BY FAR! First off, I am NOT an IT Engineer, nor am I a wifi expert. I am not a sous vide expert either. All I ask is that the immersion circulator be reasonably easy to program. Seriously, is that too much to ask? I just want to either push a couple of buttons to set the temp and the time. I now have a water oven and two immersion circulators going to offerup to be sold. (or possibly GIVEN to someone I don't like!) The Anova took less than a minute to pair with my iPhone and less that TEN SECONDS to program! As I said, this is a keeper! It is now 7/23/19 and I am updating my original review. When I made this review I had just started using the Anova Nano. It has now been seven months and the new has definitely worn off. The Nano no longer wants to be programmed by either the app or manually. It has also developed a rather annoying buzzing noise. On top of all that, Anova seems to think that a customer of theirs needs to jump through a pile of hoops to even get it looked at. The original one year warranty for the Nano was extended to two years. Even there, the Nano goes into our next yard sale. It has joined the ranks of the Gourmia 130 and the 140 for being unreliable and hard to program. Someday, perhaps Anova will actually return to customer service instead of only their bottom line. Not holding my breath.
